Employee engagement is integral to driving successful organizations. a vast construct that touches almost all parts of human resource management and other disciplines as well. ‘Employee the emotional commitment employee has organization its goals’. Engaged employees are emotionally attached their highly involved in job with great enthusiasm for success employer, going extra mile beyond employment contractual agreement. emerged critical driver business today’s competitive marketplace. This paper focuses on understanding how affects performance. Additionally, it attempts investigate into factors affect engagement. For this purpose depth analysis available literature was undertaken. Suggestions future research have also been given.
